I’m Eddie Garcia, founder and Lead Instructor for COCKTAIL U (alright, I’m also the only employee). So you wanna mix cocktails do ya? Well, you’re at the right place.
I’m a proud native of Arizona and have tended bar in just about every venue possible, from dive bars to world-class resorts. In March of 2013, I was fortunate enough to land a spot behind the legendary Jade Bar at The Sanctuary on Camelback Resort and Spa. During my seven-year tenure, I taught the valley’s finest cocktail classes, Mixology 101. I told the story of cocktails and spirits for groups from 2 to 200.
My passion is teaching spirits and cocktail history with a “hair down” approach. More than anything I want you and your guests to have a great time. If you happen to learn a little something, GREAT! Spirits and cocktails have an amazing story I’d love to share.
When I’m not doing private classes I develop Cocktail Menus for bars and restaurants all over the country. Menu Engineering, Staff Training, and Cost Analysis are my areas of expertise.
Finally, what’s most rewarding is when at the end of our time together you and your guests say to each “HEY! I bet we could do this at home!”
